Love the black and gold look! Installation wasnt too bad. Some installation tips:1. There are 2 lengths of screws inside the controller, so remembering which ones went where will be helpful. Take photos if needed. The factory screws are color coded, one silver one bronze-ish. I just re-used the original screws mostly, but the kits come with new hardware if you want to use that. I did use new springs though.2. I recommend trying not to disconnect ribbon cables if you don't have to, they can be a little bit of a hassle to reinsert. Tweezers help with this but can also potentially damage the ribbon or circuit board if not careful.3. When removing and reinstalling the screws on the back of the controllers, use a good amount of downward pressure on the screwdriver. They are a 3-slot screw head style, and easily slip out if only pushing down lightly. Which can strip the screwhead and dull out the screwdriver bit. This happened to me and I ended up throwing the screwdriver bit out, but luckily I bought 2 kits (the gold buttons and black shells) so I got 2 screwdriver sets and had a spare. Without the spare, the damaged bit was not grabbing the screws very well and I would have ended up stripping out all of them.4. The ZR and ZL buttons have 2 springs each with little plastic nubs that stick out for the springs to line up and lock into. It's actually kind of easy to not have these fully lined up before snapping the trigger into place, and once in place it's pretty hard to move the spring. So be mindful both ends of each spring are in those plastic nubs before pushing down and snapping the trigger in place so they don't losen up and move/fall out over time.Good luck!
