Our rural well goes deep into the Madison Aquifer. After some 30 + years, the pump is beginning to falter now and then, so a new pump is on the docket. We will be replacing it ourselves with the help of family and friends. It’s going to take a lot of manpower to pull the old pump and a “Pump-Pulling Day” is on the docket. If we are going to go to all that trouble, we might as well change all the fixtures and connections, including the pressure switch. This is a standard pressure switch. Rated with a pressure adjustment range of 30-50 PSI, it will fit our needs well. Although only time will tell how long this switch will last, it seems to be of the same quality as what we could get at a hardware store.
