I like the game it’s user friendlyThis was a pleasant surprise of a game, I honestly preordered because it’s a Shmup that reminds me of the visuals similar to cotton, Deceptively cute but steep learning curve and difficult, And this one does NOT disappoint in that area. You will die if you hit anything in the stage, You will die if you chill at the edge of the screen because enemies come from both sides, You will die again and again and yet again, Good news is you can study the stage and the best part which are the monstrous bosses. They have a pattern to them it’s all about timing and precision.Know what you’re getting! It looks, feels and plays like a Super Nintendo game. The plot is overly complicated for being a dog and a cat on a plane but the cool twist here is that the gems that you get from the stages help you rebuild destroyed towns which in turn you open up shops to better customize your airplane and bring down the difficulty. You CAN choose fígaro if you want the game to be on easy by default but you lose out on some of the stages as it’s not the full experience. The sounds are nice for what it is, The graphics are simplistic but nice, The plot is complicated, For some reason…But you won’t play this for the plot. I think it’s worth the $30 price tag. This is one of those games that don’t get a bunch of copies printed out and becomes rare in the long run, But honestly I’ve really enjoyed my time with it and if you’re a fan of the genre and find beauty in simplicity…You will as well. I rate games based on what they are. For a cartoon Shmup with mascot characters that’s going for the SNES feel and look, The boss fights, The stages, The rebuilding the town it’s an easy 7.5/10
